Five Humble runners complete NBA All-Star Fit Run

Five Humble athletes completed the NBA All-Star Fit Run on Feb. 16 in Houston.

The runners from Humble and their finishing times were Jennifer Lunnon, 31, 32:50; Gerred Lunnon, 32, 33:13; Isaac Barela, 46, 34:12; Priscila Garcia, 28, 35:33; and Kameron Lunnon, 11, 39:17.

Race organizers said 465 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Discovery Green.

Eric Speer, of Texas, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 17:50, while Vanessa McGovern, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 19:36.
