Atascocita grad Arthur plays in Houston Baptist loss
Atascocita High School graduate Rachel Arthur scored eight points in Houston Baptist University's 67-59 home loss to conference rival University of Texas-Pan American on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Sharp Gym in Houston, Baptist's website reported.
Arthur also recorded two rebounds, one assist, two steals and a block for the Huskies, who are 5-21 on the season and 0-5 in the Great West Conference.
Houston Baptist's next game is at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Utah Valley University.
Arthur is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Atascocita High School in Humble. The biology major from Humble is the daughter of William and Kirsten Arthur.
