Atascocita grad Arthur contributes to Baptist win
Atascocita High School graduate Rachel Arthur scored four points in the 78-76 win at home by Houston Baptist University over Texas State University on Wednesday Feb. 20 at Sharp Gym in Houston, Baptist's website reported.
Arthur also recorded four rebounds and three assists for the Huskies, who improved to 5-20 on the season.
Houston Baptist's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at home against University of Texas-Pan American.
Arthur is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Atascocita High School in Humble. The biology major from Humble is the daughter of William and Kirsten Arthur.
