Atascocita grad Arthur plays in Houston Baptist loss
Atascocita High School graduate Rachel Arthur scored 14 points, but Houston Baptist University lost 77-48 at home to conference rival New Jersey Institute of Technology on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Fleisher Athletic Center in Newark, N.J., Baptist's website reported.
Arthur also recorded one rebound, two assists and a steal for the Huskies, who are 4-20 on the season and 0-4 in the Great West Conference.
Houston Baptist's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at home against Texas State.
Arthur is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Atascocita High School in Humble. The biology major from Humble is the daughter of William and Kirsten Arthur.
