22 Humble runners complete Rhythm and Blues 5K

A total of 22 Humble athletes completed the Rhythm and Blues 5K on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Houston.

The runners from Humble and their finishing times were Pete Serna, 51, 23:50; Joseph Heilig, 28, 27:32; Lindsay Heilig, 29, 27:32; Kenette Manalo, 17, 28:45; Aireona Armagon, 21, 30:53; Sherry Wrobliske, 40, 31:41; Chris Nevins, 38, 31:42; Jada English, 14, 32:05; Annette Manalo, 41, 33:38; Robert Davis, 55, 34:54; Yolanda Rivera, 48, 38:44; Luis Rivera, 55, 38:46; Kimberly Davis, 54, 43:12; Alicia Flores, 29, 43:40; Tonetta Thomas, 40, 44:55; Shvetha Balajee, 27, 46:56; Shelly English, 42, 47:03; Lacey Russell, 31, 47:19; William Russell, 35, 47:19; Lucille Martinez, 42, 48:40; Meagan Martinez, 14, 48:41; and Judy Garza, 50, 51:28.

Race organizers said 1,174 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Sam Houston Park.

Stephen Ward was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 17:28, while Rebecca Eggeling was the winner in the women's category with a time of 20:06.
