St. Elias Orthodox Church in Humble announces new location

St. Elias Orthodox Church in Humble is now worshipping in its new church building, it was recently announced.

The new facility, according to a press release, is at 14309 Smith Road.

The parish had its first liturgy in the new church building Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, according to the church website.

St. Elias is part of the Russian Church Outside of Russia, better known as the Russian Orthodox Church. Fr. George A. Dahdouh is the church's rector.

The congregation worships in English at all services and has Divine Liturgy each Sunday at 10 a.m., with hours beginning at 9:40 a.m. All other services are regularly listed at the church's website at www.steliashouston.org.
