Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission to meet Jan. 24
The Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24.
According to the published agenda, the following new business is scheduled for discussion:
1. Workshop. A. Review of and discussion on orientation and responsibilities for members of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Douglas Schomburg, director of planning and environmental services and Ms. Ruth Lohmer, principal planner.
2. Minutes. A. Consideration of and action on approval of the minutes of the regular City of Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held Tuesday, Jan. 8. Ms. Robin Hicks, acting city secretary.
3. Public hearing. A. Receive and hear all persons desiring to be heard on permanent zoning for 2.209 acres at the southwest corner of University Boulevard and New Territory Boulevard to Planned Development (PD) District Final Development Plan Telfair Central Reserve C for commercial uses. Ms. Ruth Lohmer, principal planner. The meeting will be held in Brazos Room No. 154/155, 2700 Town Center Blvd. N.
