Humble grad Jackson contributes to Midland victory

Humble High School graduate Darnetta Jackson played for Midland College in its 95-39 win at home over conference rival Frank Phillips on Thursday, Jan. 17, in Midland, the team's website reported.

Jackson helped the Roadrunners improve to 15-5 on the season and 3-1 in conference. Midland College's next game is 5:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 at Western Texas College.

Jackson is a sophomore guard for Midland College. She is a 2011 graduate of Humble High School.
