Weekly sales roundup for Highlands, week ending Dec. 23

There were three sales in Highlands for the week ending Dec. 23, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 8606 Honeysuckle St. Ray Wong sold the home to Susan Ollivierre on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The 1,250-square-foot, three-bedroom, one-bath home was built in 1978 and is located in the Country Terrace subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 8610 W. Highlands Crossing to the secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Sales volume was 25 percent lower than the previous week and matched the volume of sales during the same week in 2011. Highlands has averaged two sales per week during the last 12 months.
