Six Humble runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon

Six Humble athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9.

The runners from Humble and their finishing times were Brian Heckman, 1:52:07; Alejandra Youens, 2:10:18; Frank Pickrell, 2:17:20; Matt Janner, 2:17:37; Dawn Koenning, 2:21:54; and Court Koenning, 2:21:54.

According to organizers, 9,878 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended in downtown Dallas.

Andrew Letherby, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:09:45, while Ashley Johnson, of Dallas, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:21:37.
