Chamber of Commerce legislative trip to Austin set for Feb. 11-12
The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will host a legislative trip to Austin on Monday, Feb. 11 and Tuesday, Feb. 12.
According to an announcement from the chamber, "This trip will include a meeting with Texas Education Agency Commissioner Michael Williams, a legislative breakfast with area elected officials and speaking engagements with Ken Armbrister, Governor Perry's legislative director, and Phil Wilson, director of the Texas Department of Transportation."
The legislative trip is open to anyone who wishes to attend, and a block of rooms has been reserved at the Doubletree Hotel, located at 1617 IH-35.
