Atascocita grad Arthur plays in Houston Baptist loss

Atascocita High School graduate Rachel Arthur scored 14 points, but Houston Baptist lost 84-83 at home to Delaware State Saturday, Jan. 5, at Sharp Gym, the Houston Baptist website reported.

Arthur also recorded three assists and a steal for the Huskies, who are 3-13 on the season.

Houston Baptist's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 on the road against New Orleans.

Arthur is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Atascocita High School in Humble. The biology major from Humble is the daughter of William and Kirsten Arthur.
