Atascocita grad Arthur plays in Houston Baptist loss
Atascocita High School graduate Rachel Arthur scored three points as Houston Baptist lost 75-58 at home to Sam Houston State Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Sharp Gym in Houston, the team's website reported.
Arthur also recorded two assists and a steal for the Huskies, who are 3-12 on the season. Houston Baptist plays next at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at home against Delaware State University.
Arthur is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Atascocita High School in Humble. The biology major from Humble is the daughter of William and Kirsten Arthur.
