Lake Houston Chamber plans Chamber 101 event

The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Chamber 101 event from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at the chamber office in Humble.

Presented by Deerbrook Mall, Chamber 101 will be an educational seminar on the work and mission of the chamber and is for new and old members alike, according to a chamber press release.

During the hour-long session, participants will be introduced to the chamber staff, review membership benefits, learn how to use the chamber website, and gain information about teams, task forces and events. Time for questions and answers will be provided.
