Doctors at Memorial Hermann Northeast use da Vinci robotic device
Dr. Miles Mahan and Dr. David Bonilla, along with surgical teams at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital, recently performed the first robotic-assisted gynecological procedures using the da Vinci Si Surgical System.
According to a press release, the system enables physicians to perform complicated and precise procedures by making tiny incisions, offering patients the least invasive surgery possible.
"The technical advances of the da Vinci system allow us to provide great precision, dexterity and control during surgery so the procedure has better recovery potential for our patients," Bonilla, a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, said in the release.

Memorial Hermann Northeast is at 18951 N Memorial Drive, Humble.
