Atascocita grad Watters plays in Schreiner loss

Atascocita High School graduate Chelsea Watters played for Schreiner University in a 61-55 loss at home to conference opponent LeTourneau Friday, Dec. 14 at Edington Gymnasium in Kerrville, the Schreiner website reported.

The junior and the Mountaineers are 4-6 on the season and 1-4 in the American Southwest Conference. Schreiner's next game is 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Texas Lutheran.

Watters is a 2010 graduate of Humble Atascocita. She is a junior at Schreiner, and a center on the Lady Mountaineers basketball team. Watters is the daughter of Michael and Tina Watters. The finance major is from Houston.
