One Humble runner completes Gruene Turkey Trot

Humble athlete Linda Nixon completed the Gruene Turkey Trot in 40:41 on Thursday, Nov. 22 in New Braunfels.

According to race organizers, a total of 1,448 runners finished the 5K race, which started and ended at Gruene Hall.

Jason Trevino, of Dallas, was the men's overall winner with a finish time of 15:29, while Landa Dowdy, of New Braunfels, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 19:48.
