The Humble Independent School District will hold community input meetings Tuesday, Dec. 4 and Thursday, Dec. 13 to discuss attendance boundaries for its new elementary school set to open in the fall of 2013.

According to a school district press release, parents and community members are encouraged to attend either one of the meetings to provide their thoughts on the Citizens Boundary Advisory Committee's proposal for Elementary School No. 27. The unnamed school, located north of the Sunset Ridge East subdivision on Woodlands Hills Drive, will provide enrollment relief for Park Lakes Elementary and Fall Creek Elementary.

The meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Park Lakes Elementary, 4400 Wilson Road, Humble and Thursday, Dec. 13 at Fall Creek Elementary, 14435 Mesa Road, Humble.

The CBAC will report the findings of the meetings to the superintendent, who will then present his recommendation for boundary changes to the Humble ISD Board of Trustees.
