Beard records highest women's scratch game at MaxBowl North

As of Nov. 29, Sandy Beard had the highest scratch game in reporting women's bowling leagues for the last week at MaxBowl North in Humble.

Beard rolled a 256.

According to LeagueSecretary.com, following Beard, the top single-game women's scores were bowled by Tiffany Stacey (254, 251), Carol Thompson (235), Melinda Valencia (235), Lisa Sprouse (231), Sandy Beard (224), Dorothy Lilley (224, 223), Gennifer Robertson (219), Gayle Keller (217), Tammy Rosas (215), Sharon Thompson (213), Lisa Sprouse (212), Silvia Rodriguez (212), Lisa Sprouse (211), Susan Nichols (210), Lisa Brooks (208), Silvia Rodriguez (208), Carol Thompson (207), Lara Weigle (204), Josephine Brown (204), Melanie Bass (203), Lara Weigle (203) and Kim Alvarez (202).

The top women's series scratch scores were bowled by Lisa Sprouse (654), Tiffany Stacey (653), Sandy Beard (653), Carol Thompson (639) and Dorothy Lilley (629).

MaxBowl North is at 2390 Wilson Road. According to its website, "The center has 32 of the finest wooden lanes around. We also have a full service bar and grill, flat screen TVs and a game room."
