Deerbrook Mall to host Elf Academy Dec. 8

Deerbrook Mall in Humble will host an Elf Academy for children ages six and under from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.

The event will provide young participants an opportunity to learn the life of elves in Santa's workshop during the Christmas season, according to a mall press release.

Each academy graduate will become a certified Santa's helper and receive a toy for participating.

Parents and children may drop into the academy at any time during the two hours. There is no charge to attend and reservations are not necessary.

The program will take place on the lower level near Macy's.

Deerbrook Mall is at 20131 Highway 59 North, Humble.
