Christian Life Center grad Rubit plays in South Alabama loss
Christian Life Center Academy graduate Augustine Rubit scored 21 points in the 68-57 loss by his University of South Alabama to conference opponent Tennessee State Monday, Nov. 19 at GSU Sports Arena in Atlanta, according to South Alabama's website.
The junior forward also recorded four rebounds, one assist, a steal and one block for South Alabama, which is 2-1 on the season.
South Alabama also played Tuesday, Nov. 20 on the road against Monmouth.
Rubit played at Christian Life in 2006-2010. He also played with the Houston Hoops club team, winning the Arizona Classic. Rubit played basketball all four years of high school and averaged 22 points and nine rebounds per game. He is the son of Kimberly Rubit.
