Atascocita grad Arthur plays in Houston Baptist loss
Atascocita High School graduate Rachel Arthur scored eight points but her Houston Baptist University women's basketball team dropped a 67-58 decision to conference rival New Mexico Friday, Nov. 16 at Don Haskins Center in El Paso, according to the university's website.
Arthur, a freshman guard, also recorded three rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Huskies, who are 1-2 on the season.
Houston Baptist University's next game is 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 on the road against New Mexico.
Arthur is a 2012 graduate of Atascocita High School in Humble.She is a biology major from Humble and daughter of William and Kirsten Arthur.
