Humble ISD thanks Houston Sports Authority for stadium improvements

During the high school football game between Atascocita and Kingwood on Oct. 26, the Humble ISD Board of Trustees thanked the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority for its partnership with Turner Stadium.

On the new scoreboard, school board president Charles Cunningham showed a video that included highlights of the 2012 AAU Junior Olympics and featured capital improvements made to the stadium.

The scoreboard was one of three big improvements made to the stadium.

Athletic director Troy Kite expressed appreciation for the Sports Authority. "We are so thankful for everything they have contributed and hopefully we will be able to continue a relationship with them that will be beneficial to the community," Kite said in a release.
