Humble ISD announces grant-writing workshops
"How to Turn Your Project Ideas Into Money: An Introduction to Grant Writing," a free two-day grant-writing workshop, will take place from 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Monday, Oct. 15 at the Humble ISD Instructional Support Center computer lab.
The workshop will combine instruction and practical exercises and will take participants through all the stages of writing a grant proposal, according to a press release.
Attendees will research funding sources using a variety of reference materials and learn how to apply what they've learned to the needs of an organization seeking a grant.
The workshop is for Humble ISD employees, parents, community members, campus volunteers, PTOs and PTAs.
The Humble ISD Instructional Support Center is located 4810 Magnolia Cove Drive in Kingwood.
