Krystal Rogers awarded First Year Promising Teacher of the Year Award
A teacher in the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District has been awarded First Year Promising Teacher of the Year Award.
Krystal Rogers, a first-grade teacher at Harlem Elementary, was presented the award by the Council of Exceptional Children - Texas.
Rogers graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake School of Education in 2011.
The First Year Promising Teacher of the Year Award is given to a CEC-Texas member who provides direct services to students with exceptionalities, and whose work reflects significant educational success for students with special needs.
