Summer Creek girls volleyball set to play New Caney Porter

Summer Creek will battle New Caney Porter in girls volleyball action Friday, Sept. 14.

The match is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at New Caney Porter.

Summer Creek is 8-2 on the year and 3-0 in district. On Sept. 11, Summer Creek beat Humble, 3-0, as Deja Alexander totaled 8 kills.

New Caney Porter has a 9-1 record on the season and is 3-1 in district play. On Sept. 11, New Caney Porter beat Dayton, 3-0, as Sydney Williams totaled 9 kills.

The next game for Summer Creek is against Mont Belvieu Barbers Hill on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

After the Friday, Sept. 14 game, New Caney Porter next plays New Caney on Tuesday, Sept. 18.
