Lone Star College-Kingwood to host political forums
Lone Star College-Kingwood will host a series of political forums in October.
The forums are sponsored by the college's Center for Civic Engagement and will feature a number of political candidates up for election in November. The community is encouraged to sit in and learn more about their options.
"We are hosting these forums because we see our role as a resource for students and the community by educating not only workers but also citizens," said John Theis, political science professor and Center for Civic Engagement sponsor, in a press release.
