Jesse H. Jones center to offer hunter education course
The Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is offering a hunter education certification course Sept. 25-27. The three-day course will meet from 5-8:30 p.m. each evening, and participants should be at least 9 years old. According to the center's website, the course meets the mandated Texas Parks and Wildlife hunter education requirements. The course fee is $15 to cover the cost of materials. Reservations are required, and will open Thursday, Sept. 13. The Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble.
