Lake Houston Chamber to host annual fair
The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual Tasting the Town fair Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Humble Civic Center.
The food and beverage tasting fair includes the area's top chefs, popular restaurants, caterers and beverages of all kinds from local coffee houses, wineries and breweries.
Sponsorships and booths are still available.
The event will run from 4-9 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center, locate at at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. The featured events include cooking demonstrations, the food blogging caf for instant reviews, the Wine Walk and a Grillin' & Chillin' Pavilion to chow down on great Texas flavors and beer.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and include all-you-can-sample food items plus two beverages — beer, water or soda. Children ages 2 to 12 get the same, except the beer choice, for $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
A Wine Lover ticket for $30 or $35 at the door also includes five samples of wine on the Wine Walk.
