Summer Creek BizCom group to meet Sept. 13

The Summer Creek BizCom Group will meet at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 at Summer Creek High School.    Formerly known as the Summer Creek Community and Business Association, the group is comprised of Summerwood and Fall Creek community members and businesses. It was created by the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce to address some of the challenges met by community businesses and leaders.    According to a press release, the BizCom group will build on the efforts already made by the Community and Business Association, and similar groups will soon be available in the communities of Atascocita, Humble and Kingwood. The group plans to meet quarterly with a variety of speakers and group discussions.     The September meeting and lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at Summer Creek High School, located at 14000 Weckford Blvd. in Houston.
