Kingwood Medical Center expands inpatient rehab department

Kingwood Medical Center is hosting a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its expanded inpatient rehabilitation department from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.   The ceremony will be held inside Entrance A of the Kingwood Medical Center, 22999 N. U.S. Highway 59. Complimentary valet parking will be provided, according to the medical center website.   The event will include refreshments and a tour of the new rehabilitation unit. The ribbon cutting will take place at 5:30 p.m.   According to its website, the center's Inpatient Rehabilitation Services Department provides individualized programs for people recovering from surgery or traumatic injury.
