Kingwood Girls Softball registering for fall season

Registration is open for the Kingwood Girls Softball Association's fall season.    Walk-up registration will be available from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 18 and  Saturday, Aug. 25, and from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1 at the KGSA Fields at KGSA Softball Complex, 4302 Woodland Hills Drive. Online registration is available at www.kingwoodsoftball.com.    The league is open for girls ages 4-18 in Kingwood and the surrounding area. Divisions are split into T-ball for 6U, pee wee for 8U, freshman for 10U, sophomore for 12U and junior/senior for 16U. Players can jump to the next age group with board approval, but no players can participate in a lower age level. The senior division maximum age is 18.    Team tryouts will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8 for teams 8U-16U.    If registered by Saturday, Aug. 18, 6U costs $60 and 8U-16U costs $160.
