Humble High School 2012 football schedule

Humble High School released its varsity football schedule for the upcoming season.

Led by coach Walt Beasley, the Wildcats went 4-6 overall and 3-4 in District 19-4A last season.

The Wildcats begin the 2012-13 season at home facing Huntsville on Friday, Aug. 30. Two away games follow as they travel to meet Channelview on Friday, Sept. 7 and Kingwood Park on Friday, Sept. 14.

After an off week, Humble hosts New Caney Porter on Friday, Sept. 28, heads to Barbers Hill on Friday, Oct. 5 and returns home to face Dayton on Thursday, Oct. 11.

The Wildcats then will go on the road again at Summer Creek on Friday, Oct. 19, host New Caney on Saturday Oct. 27, visit Crosby on Friday, Nov. 2 and finish the season with a home matchup against King on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Should the Wildcats qualify for the postseason, the first round of the 4A Texas state playoffs would begin the weekend of Nov. 16.

Humble plays its home games at the 10,200-seat Turner Stadium, located at 1700 Wilson Road, Humble.
