Where are the lowest gas prices in Lake Houston?

Gas prices in and around the Lake Houston area were higher than the averages for Texas and Houston for the week of Aug. 5, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 47 gas stations in and around Atascocita, Huffman, and Humble as of Saturday, Aug. 11. The average price of regular unleaded in the Lake Houston area is $3.49 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.48, Houston average at $3.48, and the nationwide average at $3.70.

The average gas price in the Lake Houston area last week was $3.36 per gallon.

The least expensive gas in the Lake Houston area is reported to be $3.39 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available RaceWay, 1373 FM-1960 Bypass Road East near Wilson Road; Gulf, 12315 FM-1960 E.; Kroger, 3820 Atascocita Road; and Murphy USA, 6610 FM-1960 East near Atasca Oaks.

Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas in the area at $3.59, sold at four gas stations.
