Lake Houston Chamber prepares 'Tasting the Town' event
The fourth annual Tasting the Town food and beverage event will take place from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. at the Humble Civic Center.
The exposition features area chefs, restaurants and caterers, as well as local wineries and breweries.
There will be cooking demonstrations and a food judging contest where food celebrities will rate culinary creations. There will also be a food blogging cafe where food critics will blog during the show.
General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and includes all-you-care-to-sample menu items from local restaurants, plus two beverages.
Wine Lover admission tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door and include the same benefits as general admission, plus admission to the Wine Walk, a commemorative wine glass and five sample tickets.
Children's tickets for ages 2-12 will be available at the door for $10.
