Charity in Humble aids area's needy
Humble Area Assistance Ministries was founded in 1990 with a mission to serve those who are in need.
Basic needs are provided with a goal of moving clients toward self-sufficiency. Emergency services include help with rent and utilities, but the organization offers much more. A homeless assistance program is also available, along with the community outreach program with community resources that include legal aid, assistance in applying for Medicaid and other programs, Project Mammogram and many more services.

The Child and Youth program includes a back to school initiative. Humble Area Assistance Ministries helps members of its community with emergency services as well.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "HAAM helped my family make ends meet when our utilities reached inordinate amounts. Without this organization, we would be struggling just to keep a roof over our heads and food in our tummies." — Emily Schmidt
