Lake Houston Wilderness Park to hold birding class for children
Lake Houston Wilderness Park will hold "Birding 101" for youth of all ages from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1.
This program will be geared toward children and provides Scouts an opportunity to earn pins, belt loops or badges in birding.
This program is free with the $3 park entry fee, but reservations are required and all attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Lake Houston Wilderness Park is located at 25840 FM 1485 in New Caney.
