Lake Houston Area Chamber plans lunch event at Mercer Arboretum

The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Lunch Bunch gathering from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens in Humble.

The event will feature Mercer botanist Anita Tiller speaking on native plant conservation. Her discussion will focus on wild place preservation and what chamber members can do to make a difference.

Starbucks will provide a choice of three sandwiches, chips and a beverage for $8. Lunch choices and reservations for the program should be made by 9 a.m. Aug. 6.

The Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens is located at 22306 Aldine Westfield in Humble.
