Houston police investigate fatal traffic crash
Houston police are investigating a traffic crash that claimed the life of a Houston man on June 10.
According to a police report, the accident happened at around 1:55 a.m. on 8600 FM 1960 West.
The victim, Jackson Manuel Boggus, 39, was driving a red Saturn sedan eastbound on FM 1960, allegedly at a high rate of speed, when he struck another vehicle near the intersection of Mills Road, according to Sgt. C. Nickerson and Officer M. Reyes of the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division.
Boggus was transported by Life Flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where doctors pronounced him deceased. No other persons were injured in the accident.
