Runner from Humble completes El Scorcho 50K

Steve Boone, 62, of Humble, completed the El Scorcho 50K in 7:02:10.

The event was held Sunday, July 15 in Fort Worth. A total of 93 runners finished the 50K race, which was held in Trinity Park.

The race is an endurance run which took place at midnight.

Edgar Martinez, of Allen, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 3:43:33, while Shaheen Sattar, of Dallas, was the women’s division dinner in 4:15:45.
