Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center begins interior construction

The exterior of the Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center is ready for its signage.

Interior construction has started on the new Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center, located at Sam Houston Parkway North Feeder Road at West Lake Houston Parkway.

The new center will provide various routine health services, including MRI, CT scan, radiology, wellness, prevention, physical therapy and rehabilitation. Walk-ins will be accepted and there will be extended evening and weekend hours.

A 24-hour emergency department open seven days a week will be staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and trained nurses from Memorial Hermann Northeast.

The $7.4 million project is being managed by Balfour Beatty Construction, which has worked with Memorial Hermann for 24 years.

“We are happy to have another opportunity to work with Memorial Hermann,” said Steve Mechler, division president for Balfour Beatty Construction in Houston, in the press release, “and to help the hospital support area families in need of easier access to healthcare.”

Construction should be completed by November.
