Deerbrook Mall awards $20,000 to Humble ISD competition winners

The winners of Deerbrook Mall's 2011-2012 My School's Cool competition have been announced.

First place with a prize of $10,000 went to Bear Branch Elementary School; second place and $3,000 was awarded to Quest Early College High School; and Riverwood Middle School took third place and $1,500.

Ten other schools received $500: Creekwood Middle School, Greentree Elementary, Kingwood Middle, Maplebrook Elementary, Northbelt Elementary, Northeast Christian Academy, Oak Forest Elementary, Pine Forest Elementary, Shadow Forest Elementary and Timbers Elementary.

Deerbrook Mall's management team visited Bear Branch Elementary School on May 29 to present the $10,000 check.
