Astrid Remus acquired a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 8507 Westerbrook Lane in Humble from Douglas Chemaly on May 30.

Chemaly acquired the property in March 2004. The 3,958-square-foot house was built in 2003 in the Fall Creek subdivision. Harris County assesses the home's value at $320,700.

Chemaly has been an engagement and project manager at Experis Finance. He is also a lecturer at the University of Houston and a board member at LIFE/Houston. He was previously a board member and vice president of marketing at Houston Grand Opera Guild.

He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
