Children's Assessment Center to hold fun run, walk
The first ever Jog the Journey, A Challenge for Charity, Fun Run and Walk event to benefit the Children's Assessment Center of Houston will be held at 8 a.m. on March 31 at Crosby Fairgrounds, 14920 FM 2100 in Crosby.
The 5K and 10K will kick off National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Participants of all ages are invited to attend wearing 1980s attire, though only those 21 and older may partake in the post-race drinks courtesy of St. Arnold's, Red Stripe, Miller Light and Bud Light. Music from the 1980s will be played throughout the event.
