Where are the lowest gas prices in Lake Houston?

Gas prices in and around the Lake Houston area were lower compared to the average for the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 33 gas stations in and around Atascocita, Huffman and Humble. As of Saturday, Feb. 4, the average gas price of regular unleaded gas in the Lake Houston area was $3.245 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.373, Houston average at $3.370, and the nationwide average at $3.434.

The average gas price in the Lake Houston area last week was $3.245 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in the Lake Houston area is reported to be $3.29 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available at Exxon, at 7435 FM 1960 East at West Lake Houston Parkway; Shell, at 7501 FM 1960 East at West Lake Houston Parkway; Murphy USA, at 6610 FM 1960 East near Atasca Oaks; H-E-B, at 7405 FM 1960 East at Atascocita Road; and Kroger, at 3820 Atascocita Road at Will Clayton Parkway.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.47, which was being sold at Chevron, at 12241 FM 1960 East at FM 2100.
