HS girls basketball: Summer Creek defeats New Caney Porter
Summer Creek overpowered New Caney Porter 65-37 in girls high school basketball action on Friday, in a District 18-4A match-up.
The win ups Summer Creek to 12-1 overall and 7-1 in district play.
Kaitlyn Johnson scored 18 points in the victory.
The loss drops New Caney Porter to 8-14 overall and 4-6 in district play.
Molly Young put up 16 points in the loss.
New Caney Porter will next visit Caney Creek on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
