HS girls basketball: Summer Creek defeats Caney Creek
Summer Creek defeated Caney Creek 52-34 in girls high school basketball action Tuesday, Jan. 31 in a District 18-4A match-up.
The win ups Summer Creek to 2-10 overall and 11-0 in district play.
Deja Alexander scored a game-high 17 points in the victory.
Summer Creek will next visit George Ranch at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
The loss drops Caney Creek to 2-10 overall and 1-4 in district play.
Jessica Twardowski put up 12 points in the loss.
Caney Creek will next visit New Caney at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
