Where are the lowest gas prices in Lake Houston?

Gas prices in and around the Lake Houston area this week were lower compared to the averages for Texas, Houston and the country as a whole, according to Gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 33 gas stations in and around Atascocita, Huffman and Humble. As of Jan. 27, the average gas price of regular unleaded gas in the Lake Houston area is $3.245 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.252, Houston average at $3.264 and the nationwide average at $3.358.

The average gas price in the Lake Houston area last week was $3.221 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in the Lake Houston area is reported to be $3.19 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which Gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available at Sam's Club, 9665 FM-1960 Bypass and Whitaker Drive; Valero, 8900 Will Clayton Parkway and Wilson Road; Exxon, 7435 FM-1960 East and West Lake Houston Parkway; Shell, 7501 FM-1960 East and West Lake Houston Parkway; Murphy USA, 6610 FM-1960 East near Atasca Oaks; and Kroger, 3820 Atascocita Road and Will Clayton Parkway.

Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.29, which was being sold at five gas stations.
