Signs of Spring and more at Jones Park
Jesse Jones Park will offer residents a variety of events in February.
Signs of Spring kicks off with scheduled hikes along park trails. A guide will help searchers spot signs of spring. This event begins at 10 a.m. on Feb. 4.
A stargazing program will also be offered that day. Attendees are encouraged to bring their telescopes and join a discussion about the night sky.
Reservations are required for the event, which is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 4.
The park will host Homestead Heritage Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 11. This program offers participants a peek into the world of 19th-century Texas settlers.
These programs are free and open to the public. Jesse H. Jones Park is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive. For more details, call 281-446-8588 or visit hcp4.net/jones.
