Insurer sues over fallen tree in Humble
An insurance company is suing over claims a fallen tree in Humble damaged property it insures.
AAA Texas County Mutual Insurance Co. filed a lawsuit on Aug. 24 in Harris County District Court against Humble resident Ruben Rodriguez, citing negligence.
AAA Texas says that on Aug. 26, 2009, a tree located on Rodriguez’s property fell and damaged his neighbor’s home, located on Capewood Drive in Humble. According to the brief, Rodriguez knew the tree was a danger to his neighbor’s property but failed to trim or remove the tree.
AAA Texas is seeking $6,606.39 in damages and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Dallas attorney T. Glenn Ingram.
